At Samaritas, we offer a continuum of care to individuals who are struggling with substance use disorders. Individuals who may struggle with alcohol or substances and want positive supports can request an SUD assessment. The assessment will help to determine the best approach to help solve their areas of concern. Samaritas offers SUD assessments, case mangement, recovery coaching, individual therapy, group therapy and medicated assisted treatment.

We are currently open to new clients across West Michigan for Outpatient Counseling, Psychiatry Services, and Substance Use Services. We serve all ages - ranging from children as young as 5 years old to teenagers to adults. At Western Michigan Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. MAT is an evidence-based approach to opioid addiction treatment that can support many positive outcomes for patients. These benefits can include increased treatment retention, improved social functioning, reduced use of prescription painkillers and illicit drugs, and decreased transmission of infectious diseases. Combining prescription medication and counseling, MAT offers patients a comprehensive treatment experience. The medications that are available in MAT can ease the challenges of ending opioid use by relieving withdrawal symptoms and reducing opioid cravings. At the same time, these medications may help patients achieve better mental clarity so that they can focus on the recovery process. In our MAT program, this process can include individual and group therapies. These supportive counseling sessions are a key part of MAT at our CTC because they can allow you to address the mental and emotional aspects of opioid addiction recovery.

Founded in 2015, Sanford Behavioral Health is licensed and accredited as an addiction, eating disorder, and co-occurring mental health treatment facility serving Michigan and beyond. Sanford House at John Street is a residential addiction treatment facility for adult men (18 and older). The male-gendered counterpart to Sanford House at Cherry Street for Women, John Street, offers 24/7 structured living. We provide detox, clinical programming, medical management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and male-gendered therapeutic approaches. There are 20 beds for residential treatment, and we back all our programs with science-based practices, wellness activities, and a private chef. Programs include individual, group, and family therapy, a full continuum of care, and long-term support. Services for addiction include psychiatric and medical assessments, medical detox, residential programs, day programs(PHP), intensive outpatient programs, and in-person and telehealth options. Sanford has assembled a psychiatrist-led team of medical, clinical, and support personnel providing medication-assisted, evidenced-based treatment to residential, outpatient, and telehealth patients.

Sanford Outpatient Center for Addiction Treatment is conveniently located 12 minutes from Greater Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. We offer substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health treatment to adults 18 or older. Programs are offered in person or via telehealth. The Outpatient Center has flexible, innovative, individualized recovery programs for those with work, child care, school, or other obligations. Outpatient treatment allows for continuing everyday activities while integrating effective strategies to manage recovery. Sanford Outpatient Center is a great place to gather for treatment and community support. A psychiatrist-led multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals backs all our programs. Programs and services include medical and psychiatric assessments, day programs (PHP), half-day programs (IOP only 3 hours a day 3 days a week), outpatient groups, medication management & MAT, post-acute detox, alums & family support, and supportive living. Our facility is comfortable and beautiful, with custom furniture, original artwork, a beverage station, the Sanford Café, a discreet entrance, and free parking.
