I'm currently unable to accept new appointments. I expect to open my practice again in late February or March of 2023. I'm a general practice psychotherapist with over 30 years' experience. I work best with the adolescent-to-adult range. I work with a broad variety of issues, including anxiety, depression and panic attacks; couples and relationship issues; substance abuse and eating disorders; trauma and abuse; sexuality and gender issues; and questions of identity and personal development.
I have specialty training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming (EMDR), a unique modality for treating trauma. I also have many years of experience in treating behavioral and addictive disorders, like substance abuse and eating disorders; and affective disorders like anxiety and depression.
I'm a solo practitioner with an office conveniently located near downtown Kalamazoo, and I have a wide range of available hours five days a week. I can accept most insurances.
