I am experienced in providing Marital Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques and Internal Family Systems, among others. I provide therapy for individuals (children ages 4-12, adolescents and adults), groups, families and couples.

I have worked as an LPC for 17 years, much of it based in a school. I work with teens, parents, adults, and families and I am LGBTQIA+ affirming. I am committed to helping those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-harm, lack of motivation, life transitions, and other related challenges. I love to help clients find the best way to meet their own personal goals in a way that works best for them as an individual.

When people are hurt by trauma or severe life stressors, often they feel trapped and out of control. It is my mission in life to bring healing to broken hearts and freedom to those who feel trapped. I enjoy working with young children, teens, young adults & families. Many of my clients have struggled with issues like anxiety, depression, self injury, social skills, parenting, adoption, & adjusting to new situations. Parents/caregivers are welcome to join sessions if they desire (as clinically appropriate) as a way to learn skills along with their child/family. This helps support the skills learned within sessions & outside of sessions, when at home & in the community. This empowers the client & family & helps everyone feel like they are mastering the skills learned in sessions. I am supervised by a licensed PHD.

Many of my clients are coping with complex medical conditions that are impacting their daily health and welfare. They are often dealing with challenges associated with aging, disability, and illness such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, social isolation, chronic pain, dementia, grief, and end of life. My clients want to be able to continue to enjoy life, maintain relationships, and remain an active part of their community despite the obstacles they are facing.
