Meghan has extensive experience working in the field of mental health and substance use treatment. Meghan also works with a nurse practitioner to assist clients with medication management, along with several other therapists in her practice. Meghan understands the importance of utilizing a team approach along with resources as part of the therapeutic process and is very familiar with a variety of support services in the area.
Meghan has worked as a leader for 15 years providing mental health and addiction treatment. Meghan is passionate of advocating for clients and families with chronic diseases such as Type 1 Diabetes, as she has personal experience raising a child with T1.
I believe that since everyone’s journey is unique, the counseling process should be collaborative and individualized. My approach is electric; focusing on your needs, providing a safe space for you to be authentic and feel safe to be who and where you are during each session. I believe there should be no wrong door and access to quality therapy is vital.
