I am a licensed clinical social worker who is dedicated to providing my clients with ethical, professional and confidential services. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in determining successful outcomes in treatment. This involves the client feeling safe and trusting of the therapist while he/she explores emotional vulnerabilities and painful thought processes. My hope is that you will experience me as someone who actively listens to you and works with you to develop effective problem-solving strategies. My approach to therapy is respectful, honest, client-centered and strengths based.
I have experience with clients from various backgrounds including; children with severe behavioral and emotional disorders, adolescents and adults with chemical dependency issues, adults and seniors with severe and chronic mental illness, and people of all ages dealing with issues related to: trauma, loss, grief, divorce/separation, depression, anxiety, OCD, stress, abuse/neglect, codependency, etc...
