I graduated from Wayne State University in 2020 with a Bachelors in social work. After completing the advanced program ten months later, I earned my Masters degree in social work from WSU as well. Currently, I am a LLMSW, with over 10 years of experience. My background includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with additional experience with Motivational Interviewing, grief & loss, trauma, depression, BPD, pre-marital & marital counseling, ADHD, and anxiety. To understand the motivation between our thoughts and feelings, one must embrace the shadow beneath the light that we want to be shown. I am also experienced in assisting people who have experienced physical trauma , emotional abuse and the difficulties of navigating the LGBTQ "coming out process". Many of my clients have shared with me that felt they were "broken". I see my clients as hurting rather than broken and assist them in healing. I earned master's degrees in art therapy/art education (Wayne State University, 2013) and clinical psychology (Michigan School of Psychology, 2015).

Hello, I am an LMSW licensed through the State of Michigan and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals. I work out of the Great Lakes Psychology Group South Gate office and am currently accepting new clients. I have almost ten years of experience in providing outpatient therapy and have provided therapy to children, adults, couples, and families struggling with a range of concerns. Additionally, I have significant experience working in outpatient substance abuse therapy with both clients and their families as they navigate recovery.

I have been practicing for over 28 years. I graduated with a Masters degree in Social Work from Wayne State University graduating with honors. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, children of divorce, adult children of divorce issues, anger management, and child behavioral disorders. I have also been a practicing School Social Worker since 1997 working in both public and charter schools. I have a wealth of knowledge regarding the IEP and 504 process. I have also taught upper level undergraduate courses at the University level in the Department of Social Work.
