To understand the motivation between our thoughts and feelings, one must embrace the shadow beneath the light that we want to be shown. My ideal client wants to know themselves better than anyone else and is willing to work toward acceptance of themselves and others. They might have faced hardships that are rooted in issues of self esteem and self worth, or have faced external pressures that have taken a toll such as with maltreatment and abuse.
I offer an integrative and psychodynamic approach to therapy that puts an emphasis on working with symptoms and their presentations, not masking or judging them in the name of irrationality. To love unconditionally is to accept radically, and it would be my pleasure to assist in embracing that for you.
