My goal is not to “fix” or make you “forget” your trauma or illness, but to support and help you navigate through it in a way that allows you to feel in control and confident in yourself. My aim is to create an environment to work alongside you to identify goals, overcome obstacles, and explore new ways of thinking.
I have training in substance abuse as well as family therapy. I take a motivational and self-guided approach to empower clients to take charge of their lives. I draw on my experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), my training as a certified Multi-Dimensional Family Therapist and Recovery Coach designation.
