I specialize in meeting the needs of creative individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues. Because I am the author of ten critically acclaimed books, I also work with aspiring writers, helping them to gain publication. My work is intensely relational and always focused on real results. I believe that clients are paying for a service and that they deserve to see measurable and lasting change. Along these same lines, my treatment is often relatively brief. We identify the problem(s) and the steps to change along with a timeline for these steps. Clients become active agents in their own recoveries.

The focus of my Telehealth only private practice is on counseling adults and couples. My therapeutic approach is one where we work together as a team utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques designed specifically to your needs. It is my belief that the majority of all our issues revolve around our relationships either with ourselves or with others. I have over 20 years of experience as a professional counselor. I enjoy working with all ages. Over the last 20 years I have worked with children,tweens,adolescents,adults,couples and their families. Creating a therapeutic environment, which is safe,non-judgemental and caring, is one of my main goals. Every individual has a unique set of circumstances. This requires a personalized intervention to create the changes needed to gain the insight to better understand themselves and others. Once becoming empowered with the skills to feel confident about themselves and their environment they soon find life becomes more managable and easier to navigate through.

I am a Massachusetts-Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I love my job. I began this journey in NYC, receiving my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Queens College. After moving to New Hampshire, I pursued my MEd from UNH and a second Masters’ (MS) in Addiction Counseling. I rounded off my studying with my CAGS from Rivier University in Nashua, NH. This allowed me to work in the education, and/or clinical fields, with the dual-diagnosed population, as well as teach Psychology at NCC.
