Hi! My name is Lori. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. I have over 20 yrs of experience working with clients. I believe we are stronger than we know and more capable than we are aware. Sometimes in life the world presents us with situations that challenge these beliefs. These challenges often show up as symptoms of anxiety, depression, anger, fatigue, being overwhelmed, and addiction. If you are feeling these challenges you are not alone and have come to the right spot. I look forward to meeting you and beginning your wellness journey.
My approach to counseling is person centered, strength based, CBT, and solution focused. I encourage individuals to explore, understand and learn strategies to manage their symptoms. I specialize in reducing anxiety, depression, addiction and navigating transitions. Growth and serenity is more about the process of change, than the final destination.
My counseling sessions are a safe space where I promote being genuine, authentic and laughter, the best medicine.
