I practice decolonizing and liberation focused therapy. My areas of focus include sexuality and trauma. I consider myself a client centered, relational, and culturally sensitive psychotherapist. I am a warm, affirming, non-judgmental psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, and I work with an interactive, humanistic, strengths-based, trauma-informed, HAES-aligned, and transparent narrative therapy approach. I believe that people have the innate capacity to heal and change. We will work together to develop a deeper understanding of your life goals and perspectives, so that we can custom-tailor techniques to make life most meaningful for you. Licensed in both PA and DE, my approach is integrative, intersectional, developmental, and contextual with a belief in the value of connection and the power of possibility. I understand that we are heavily shaped by our relationships, family experiences, and positionality in the world with regard to race, culture, class, gender identity, sexuality, etc. My practice is relationship and sexual intimacy focused, and I've deepened my lens to include training in the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, in addition to past experience with PACT, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Gottman Method, and IMAGO.

Sometimes we come to therapy because we are experiencing something specific and other times something just feels off. Any time is a good time (I know I have to say that, but I really believe it). I also believe that our experiences occur within the impact of systems (relationships, work, family, communities, school, society etc.). The more we uncover our understanding of how these systems interact, the better we understand our world and ourselves. This helps us disrupt patterns and deepen groundedness and joy. Clients tell me that our work together helps them see themselves more fully and therefore see others more fully.

I provide individual therapy for mental health needs and adjustment disorders. Depression, anxiety, addictions and eating disorders are typical mental health issues of my clients. I also treat adjustment issues such as grief/loss, relationship/divorce/marital, work/career, and body image/weight.
