For the past 20 years, I have worked with an array of people, individuals, couples, families, and groups in a variety of settings, both clinical and community based. My vast experience has helped me develop an effective system to help improve person’s lives. I am mostly a non-directive, “person centered” humanistic therapist. "How does that make you feel?" is not my approach! In sessions with me, we can focus on new coping strategies and skills to replace old and problematic habits in your life. I enjoy working with teens, individual adults and couples using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques. We identify your deeply held values and then take solid behavioral steps towards getting closer to those values. Additionally, I do offer premarital counseling tailored to each couple.

We then collaborate on strategies (new habits, ways of thinking, communication, etc.) that will most likely overcome obstacles to your thriving success.
