I work with individuals who have experienced mild to severe levels of trauma with a single diagnosis to comorbid diagnoses, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder , Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Bipolar 1 Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Borderline Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Attention Hyperactive Deficit Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, etc. Their needs are to be listened to, validated, and understood. They want to feel genuinely accepted. They want to live life to the fullest. Their goals are to receive the care needed to assist with improving quality of life.

I see each person as a lotus, unfolding gracefully despite life's challenges—much like how it grows beautifully in the mud. We all deal with stress, fears, worries, and tough times that can make life feel overwhelming or lonely. My goal is to create a safe space where you can learn to navigate these ups and downs, and realize that you're not alone on this journey. Growing up in a Vietnamese household within American society has given me unique insights, inspiring me to become a mental health counselor. I understand the struggle of finding someone relatable to talk to, so my main focus is on building trust between us.

I am a somatic and relationship therapist, and provide both individual and couples therapy. For adults and adolescents dealing with various types of trauma from developmental to acute, I use Somatic Experiencing as well as IFS (internal family systems) to help you heal the intensity of your experience of past events that may be keeping you feeling overwhelmed and settle your nervous system in the here and now. For couples I use Gottman Couples Therapy to help you improve communication, and work through things from infidelity to parenting to navigating relationship changes. I also provide sex therapy to individuals and couples.

I’ve helped many people work through concerns like: depression, anxiety, life transitions, sexuality, divorce, grief. Whatever your concerns, we can work through them together. There is no standard therapy template. Each client undertakes a uniquely individual process.
