I work to provide my clients a safe and confidential environment for change. For couples, I also offer premarital counseling and counseling for the transition to parenthood, because these are important milestones that can set the tone for the rest of your lives together.

I have over twenty years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. NOW OFFERING: one or two day Relationship Intensives for couples in distress. I also present talks and workshops on topics such as: parenting, affair-proofing your marriage, building strong relationships, the "good" divorce, understanding your teen, etc.

I have training in Gottman Method Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I am a Certified Gottman Educator for Bringing Baby Home. I am also part of the National Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapists and a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists. This is a two day workshop for pregnant couples and couples in the first year of parenthood. It is based on the research of Dr. John Gottman who found that relationship satisfaction is often challenged during the early years of parenting. Research has shown that benefits of this workshop include: higher or maintained relationship satisfaction for the couple, decreased risk of post-partum depression, increased father involvement in parenting, increased co-parenting abilities, and improved parent-child relationships.
