I am a psychodynamic therapist who believes we unwittingly repeat self destructive patterns until someone helps us understand how to identify them and how to stop them. I am an active therapist who talks and listens.I also use humor because both laughter and tears are part of change.
I am a psychologist-psychoanalyst who has run a volunteer organization that provided services to family members of military service members and veterans who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. I think we all have a responsibility to give back when we can.
