I believe that success in therapy is based on the relationship shared between a therapist and their client. I approach counseling with the fundamental belief that we are all whole individuals - each of us unique; equally deserving of love, understanding, and compassion; and capable of making positive changes to achieve wellness. My goal is to help you identify, understand, and resolve your own unique life stressors.
I am comfortable with working with clients of all ages. I offer individual, family and couples therapy. I draw from a variety of counseling theories and techniques including EMDR, play and art therapy techniques, cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques.
My approach in the therapeutic process is one that supports and guides you to gain greater understanding of yourself and your relationships. In therapy we will set goals, explore thoughts, feelings and behaviors and work together toward your desired outcomes.
