I have been in practice for over 30 years and feel that I'm best at dealing with individuals with anxiety, depression and relationship issues. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who has also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor(CADC) and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology(MCP). Much of my training has been centered in client-centered theory and I also have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). When therapy is most meaningful, it is most often the result of a strong and unique relationship between the client and the therapist. In order for such a relationship to develop, I take my time in getting to know my clients in an organic and natural manner. During early sessions, I will ask questions as necessary in order to get to know the person behind the client, but I work hard to get to know who people are on their own terms, and in their own time. After 35 years of providing neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy at my Schaumburg office on Woodfield Road, I am in the process of retiring.
