I work best with clients who are open to reflection and exploration, both inside and outside of therapy. I encourage clients to integrate change into their own personal life based off our work in-session. I have experience with topics including but not limited to processing trauma, learning to cope with anxiety or depression, identifying and adjusting negative interpersonal patterns, and more. I am flexible and open to expanding my knowledge on my clients' presenting issues. Clients who are willing to go on a journey to make changes (even small changes) toward healing, would find support and encouragement in the space I provide.

I am a licensed psychologist specializing in children who views parents as partners in the therapy process. Parents are the experts on their child's development, behavior, relationships, and habits. Their involvement is critical as they provide important background information as well as crucial feedback regarding the effectiveness of our interventions. Therapy offers children the opportunity to identify, discuss, and understand problems and to develop necessary coping skills. It also addresses parental concerns and offers education and support to encourage the development of healthy coping strategies and personal growth. I am a mental health therapist with over four years of experience providing school-based and outpatient services for clients from adolescents to adults. In addition, I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served from September 2002 to November 2006. With extensive knowledge in diagnosing mental health disorders, I create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

Catherine specializes in helping clients work through difficult times and provides the strategies and techniques necessary for empowerment as well as making and maintaining positive changes. Catherine works with children, teenagers, and adults and often addresses anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, adjustment issues, relational and family challenges, confidence, sexuality issues and substance abuse problems. I have over 25 years of clinical experience and specialize in treating women's issues, such as: post-partum depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship and career issues. My experience as a childbirth educator has enhanced my ability to treat the needs of post-partum women as they transition into motherhood. This journey is one that is often met with unexpected emotions and I help women identify these feelings so they can resolves issues that may complicate parenthood. I recognize the impact of pregnancy loss as well, and help my clients process through this very unique kind of grief.
