About
Therapy is a process and a journey. It takes courage and commitment. For many people, walking through a counselor's door is a huge step. It can feel hopeful and scary at the same time. For others who already have some experience with therapy, they may be looking for someone who can give a different perspective or address a different issue. My approach to counseling is holistic: mind, body and spirit. My goal is to create a safe environment where trust can build and issues can be addressed.
In my practice, I have addressed many issues over the years. Each situation is unique. My job is to help sort out the puzzle pieces. I look for the strengths in each person, couple and/or family. I come along to work together to set goals and make positive changes.
I have seen individuals aged 4-80. I work with military families. I am familiar with medical issues that impact mental health including cancer, thyroid issues, diabetes and lyme disease. I have advocated for individuals with disabilities. I am the clinical adviser of the Hamilton County Depression Bipolar Support Alliance.
