I am a licensed clinical psychologist offering counseling to adults, adolescents, children, and families. I have extensive experience treating clients with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, eating disorders, parenting issues, behavioral problems and career concerns.

Over the years, I have developed an eclectic perspective to therapy and utilize a unique combination of psychotherapy, mind-body awareness and hypnotic relaxation techniques, family systems therapy, emotion focused therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques. My wide range of knowledge and competency in various psychological theories allows me to be flexible in my treatment. I aim to revive my patients from the current positions in their lives and help bring in the much needed harmony and infused positivity that will allow my clients to progress in their minds, their mental health and their overall life.

Fuller Counseling was founded with the mission of creating a space that is comfortable, warm, compassionate, and free of judgment. We aim to work with individuals (adolescents and adults), couples and families to challenge negative beliefs, patterns, maladaptive coping skills, along with other difficult cycles that may have appeared throughout the course of life. We work with clients to create goals and treatment plans that will lead to healthier ways of living and utilize productive coping mechanisms. We empower our clients to make changes and gain insight that will stop old patterns and increase self-awareness and confidence.

At Forest Path Therapy, we will walk with you on your journey and support you in your work. We believe that the most important factors in therapy are feeling like you are comfortable talking with your therapist and where you feel heard and understood. We start by learning who you are and what your life looks like. Instead of focusing just on what’s wrong, we pay attention to your whole life - what is working and what you would like to change. We believe therapy works best when we work together to examine the different sides of a problem together and provide support and space for you to decide how to move forward.

I specialize in providing therapy to adolescents and young adults from a wide range of backgrounds, with a particular focus on supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients. My practice includes working with individuals facing a variety of challenges, such as ADHD, autism, anger management, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, boundary issues, and relationship difficulties. I am especially passionate about helping individuals who have experienced trauma, and I seek to approach each client with cultural sensitivity, empathy, and a genuine desire to understand and support their unique experiences.

I work with couples, families, individuals, and children. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and life transition issues. I believe that every person is equipped with their own unique skill sets that can help them in and out of the therapy room. These skills are often buried in the harmful stories we tell ourselves, but these stories can be edited and rewritten. I wholeheartedly believe in providing culturally sensitive and competent care to each and every client.

I specialize in identity development & life transition work, harm reduction for individuals with substance use issues, relationship issues, mood & anxiety challenges, and supporting individuals who have endured trauma. I am a kink and poly aware therapist who enjoys working with relationships. I relying on an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) lens when working with relationship struggles. I am dedicated to serving Chicagoland’s LGBTQIA+ community and have a deep background in advocacy and direct service. I am especially dedicated to supporting TGNC individuals in the unique aspects of their journeys.

My passion lies in working with adolescents and young adults dealing with self-esteem challenges, self-harm, disordered eating, and substance abuse. Additionally, I am deeply interested in guiding individuals through various topics, including ethical non-monogamy/polyamory, divorce, uncoupling, infidelity, betrayal, sexual trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, boundary setting, transitions, and family dynamics. Through compassionate counseling, I aim to empower clients to lead fulfilling lives and cultivate healthier, more meaningful relationships.

Rebecca is a graduate of Adler University Chicago. In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, she is also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Rebecca views the therapeutic process as a holistic experience and is constantly inspired by the courage of the clients she works with. Rebecca has extensive experience working as a Personal Trainer with a specialization in disability, illness, disease and health related issues. Therefore, she strongly believes in the mind-body connection and that change is possible in any situation. Rebecca is also working towards her certification in EMDR and Equine Therapy.
