My philosophy to treatment is to "test first so there are no questions later!" This means the first step is to identify all the major factors contributing to your problem, as well as any smaller problems that could be having an impact. Often, what seems to be one problem is really something else entirely. This diagnostic clarity is accomplished by administering a battery of tests personalized to your unique presentation. By identifying specific areas in need of intervention, the rate of recovery increases and much more targeted treatments can be implemented.

Families, couples and individuals impacted by trauma can find it difficulty to get the help they need. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist in the mental health field. I am passionate about helping people overcome their life stressors, past hurts, and to function in a healthier way. I help clients who suffer from mental health disorders, current problems, substance related addictions along with process related addictions (i.e. sex, gambling, shopping). I most frequently use Insight Oriented Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches; as well as CBT and DBT when appropriate. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and family members.

When life's challenges weigh you down or for those times when you might need a little extra support and guidance, I can help. Sometimes asking for help is not always easy to do, so I offer a free initial consultation. I will work closely with you in forming an effective plan of self empowerment. Together we will help you find and use the tools that you need to live a more fulfilling life.

I bring 25 plus years of professional experience to all my clients. I take seriously their issues, problems and struggles. I listen with a caring heart and respect my clients and their views. My specialties include working with those who are struggling with anxiety, the darkness of depression, addiction, and those fighting compulsive sexual behaviors. I also assist couples with communication and decision making.

I am a clinical psychologist focused on helping kids, teens, and families navigate challenges related to ADHD, social relationships, difficult emotions, and stress. I believe that with the right supportive environment of empathy, patience, and guidance, we can all grow through these challenges and emerge stronger than before. I offer therapy and testing services to facilitate this process of growth. I am currently providing these services remotely through telehealth, and I am able to offer remote testing for some presenting concerns, such as ADHD, emotional functioning, and disruptive behaviors.
