I have been providing psychological and behavioral services in the Chicagoland and Grand Rapids, Michigan area for the last 14 years. In session I am empathetic and positive, working collaboratively with each client, in overcoming life challenges. Due to the vast amount of experience I have gained in both psychotherapy as well as behavioral modification, my therapeutic approach is diverse and can be non-directive, guiding the client at their own pace, or directive in nature. My goal is to assist each client to a happier, healthier, productive life, in a safe environment.

Our life's work is helping clients achieve a better sense of self and happiness...more recently we've recognized that without good mental health providers, finding this balance in life can be more difficult and stressful. As a result, we tend toward an Integrative approach and help our clients transform into the people they want to be. We see each client as an individual with many parts to their identity. Utilizing a holistic and systemic approach we help clients reintegrate the parts of themselves to function better as individuals and within their systems. Our focus tends toward a systems based approach using behavior methods.

My broad base of experience recognizes the whole person in a solution-focused approach that is realistic and achievable. I utilize insight oriented, cognitive-behavioral and family oriented approaches in my counseling milieu. I am devoted to helping adults, children and adolescents (6-18 years), couples and families.

Hello! I am a trauma-informed therapist who is fluent in Spanish and an ally to the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. I am certified in Crisis Intervention and am drawn to clients who can relate to domestic violence, human trafficking, depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, and complex trauma. I also can help if you have trouble with sleep, motivation, phobias or stress. I see children, adolescents, adults, and families. Lindsey strongly believes that the therapeutic relationship is the forefront of therapy and the foundation for change. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, dealing with a wide range of issues; however, she specializes in anxiety based disorders, including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
