Hello there, my name is Lily and I am a Spanish speaking Counselor. My main goal is to provide a safe, nurturing and creative-therapeutic environment. I provide a non-judgmental space, where you can feel comfortable exploring parts of yourself that might make you feel many types of emotions. My approach is gentle, non-judgmental and exploratory. I have a warm interpersonal style, with a balance of humor, and intentional-direct feedback. My clinical approach is mainly CBT, Humanistic, Mindfulness and Solution-Focused. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and am skilled at Relationship Building.

There are times life runs smoothly and then an unexpected loss is experienced causing a grief reaction with many confusing and overwhelming emotions. The loss may be through the death of a loved one or a non death related loss such as job loss, loss of possessions, acquired disabilities, or life changing events. At times, a person may need guidance to help with those adjustments.

My interest as a licensed therapist in private practice is based on my background and experience. I have a master's degree from Loyola University in social work. I have gained well-rounded experience working with children, families, couples, and single adults in various settings which include schools, and psychiatric inpatient/outpatient hospitals. I also have great experience working with those who have experienced traumatic events that have impacted their quality of life. I also have extensive experience in depression and anxiety disorders. I dont just look at short term relief, but also get to the origins of where they stem from
