Dr. RoseMary Cairo has been a clinically licensed therapist for over 20 years, and during this time she received her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. Dr. Cairo strives to create a warm and safe environment that supports individuals and couples, who are looking to strengthen their lives and relationships emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Arti Persaud, PhD works with adults, children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Persaud has worked in the field since 2000 in varying capacities and multiple clinical settings. She specializes in working with domestic violence, teen dating violence, the child welfare system, child abuse and neglect, complex child and adult trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, dissociation, special populations, crisis intervention, infertility issues, grief and loss, and sexual assault.

I am dedicated to providing my clients a safe and supportive environment so that the process of change and growth begins. I encourage my clients to engage in self-exploration so that they will come to a deeper understanding of themselves. Together we will identify healthier ways to cope with the thoughts, feelings and life circumstances that are causing you discomfort.

As a highly-experienced clinical psychologist I have worked with a wide spectrum of therapy and evaluation issues within my private practice and multiple other treatment settings. I recognize the importance of seeing clients as individuals with unique strengths ,weaknesses and specific needs, and not simply as diagnostic labels or condtions. My approach to therapy is based on my inherent belief in change and on establishing a safe,secure and strong working relationship with my clients. I employ an eclectic approach relying upon well researched and effective treatment methods which best fit the specific needs and concerns of the individual client.

First thing we do is discuss the presenting issue. The homework is to complete a personality style questionnaire that is key in helping to focus on the work. Then we see how the personality works with the presenting issue. Then we set up a way to address the issue that is tailored to the personality style. I assign common sense realistic ways for you to be able to use that will result in an immediate healthy sense of well being. I do individual and relationship counseling. I have the life and professional experience needed to help you.

Anna Mazek-Vann, LCPC, CDVP is bilingual (English/Polish) therapist who provides individual, couples and family therapy to children, teens and adults at Core Psychotherapy Center. Anna is trained in EMDR. She is a culturally sensitive LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. She works with survivors of with complex trauma, sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, PTSD, grief and loss, substance abuse, mood disorders, and anxiety. She works with gambling and kleptomania as well as substance abuse. She offers support to first responders (firefighters, paramedics, police, etc.) and their loved ones.

I have worked in the area of mental health for over thirty years: first as a special educator and then as a licensed clinical psychologist serving children, adults and couples from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds. I am ecclectic in approach using elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is critical for change and that the work must be done in a setting of trust and mutual respect. My special interests include working with individuals and couples on relationship issues and problems related to self-esteem, anxiety, and depression.

I have a passion for helping others. I have been successfully treating Borderline Personality Disorder as well as most anxiety, depressive, and psychotic disorders. All of these disorders are treatable. Treating BPD is my specialty, having 17 years experience reducing symptoms and improving the quality of life for my clients in both individual and group settings. I have taught the group using the BPD workbook for all of those years and have seen people make tremendous growth in understanding and controlling their emotions. Many eventually graduate from the program and need no further treatment.

Dr. Terry-Ann Adjmul-Hislop is a graduate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a pediatric neuropsychologist with extensive experience working with the pediatric and adolescent population both domestically and internationally. She organizes and conducts positive parenting seminars, psychosocial workshops, and has worked especially with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disability, language disorders, mood disorders, behavioral problems, developmental delays, trauma, adjustment disorders, depression, and anxiety.

Relationships can be a source of fulfillment to draw from in our lives. Often, however, miscommunication, old habits, physiological issues and daily stress create barriers preventing them from being a source of happiness and strength. Therapy can help break down barriers to improve communication, decrease conflict and increase emotional and physical intimacy. Dr. Tony Fletcher is a well-known and respected clinical neuropsychologist, licensed clinical psychologist and diplomate in forensic psychology with over 20 years of clinical and courtroom experience. His expertise is in various assessments (academic, learning disorders, TBI, forensic, psychiatric, emotional and cognitive) of children from the age of five to geriatric populations. Dr. Fletcher's therapeutic orientations are in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

I have been assisting individuals, couples, groups and families navigate the difficulties that accompany Substance Abuse/Dependence, Dual-Diagnosis, Narcissistic Abuse Survivor Recovery and relationship difficulties for over 20 years. My experience supporting and guiding clients through theses life experiences has taught me that what we can usually expect to find beneath these presenting behaviors can be a mix of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, betrayal, trauma and stress. This is what creates unmanageability. Together we will design healthy coping skills and boundaries in order to create awareness and restore manageability.
