I believe that we all have the innate power to change our own lives. To do this, we need to understand, accept and make peace with our past, and realize that it does not control us. My treatment approach is centered on increasing present moment awareness, creating a space in which to explore the events of the past, and developing concrete, achievable goals for the actualization of each person's full potential. When appropriate, I employ music as a means of exploration, connection, and expression.
Music has the power to evoke thoughts and feelings that lie beneath our conscious awareness. When we tap into these areas, we get to know ourselves more fully, and in doing so, can begin to work with strengths and weaknesses and move toward living a more authentic life.
