I am a licensed clinical psychologist who provides individual therapy, couples counseling, and psychological/cognitive assessment. I enjoy working with adults of all backgrounds and ages across the lifespan. I utilize a holistic and integrative approach, drawing upon the techniques of skill-based therapies, such as CBT, ACT, and DBT, as well as more theoretical and attachment based therapies like mindfulness and somatic psychotherapy. I address issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional regulation, work life balance, relationship issues, childhood trauma, low self-esteem, identity issues, and personal growth.

I am a counselor who specializes in helping clients achieve their goals. I offer a judgment-free, unconventional approach to counseling as I believe therapy should be tailored to the person asking for help. I firmly believe everyone does things in their own unique way and time so honing in on self-identified strengths assists me with helping clients improve upon what they may consider their "challenges". I also assist my clients with getting in tune with those hidden strengths they may be unaware of. The hardest part of therapy is getting started. Book a session and take a chance. Talk therapy is not enough. My approach to therapy focuses on combining cognitive and somatic therapies to strengthen connection to self, and reduce the blocks to healing. The goal is to connect to your authenticity, and have the freedom to find positive and affirming ways to enjoy relationships with self and others. The goal is to experience life without shutting down or disconnecting, and/or using destructive behaviors to reduce pain and distress. Attaining the freedom to choose what you want for yourself, begins with taking the first step.

As queer women, we often have more challenges to navigate than others and sometimes we need extra support. I can provide you with that support. I work with queer women who are struggling with feelings of stress, relationships concerns, dating, anxiety, parenting, marriage, depression, & frustration. I also help people struggling with ADHD and with grief/loss. I am a doctoral level psychologist & have graduated & trained in programs accredited by the American Psychological Association.

I typically work with individuals with various diagnoses, couples struggling with marital issues and families navigating divorce, blended families, co-parenting, grief, insomnia, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and OCD. I am well-suited, competent, and clinically trained in a variety of treatment approaches including but not limited to CBT, Trauma, attachment injury, internal family systems, DBT, and childhood trauma. I have an interest in working with substance misuse, and all types of addiction, including gambling and increasingly common tech porn.
