Lorell Berrios is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s in Social Work from New York University. She has significant experience working with individuals of different age groups providing individual, family, and couple’s therapy. Lorell has diverse experience treating symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and mood disorders. Her therapeutic approaches used are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in History and African American Studies from The University of Michigan and a Master of Social Work from Tulane University. Before joining Rivia, I worked in private practice, university settings and intensive outpatient programs. I use a nonjudgmental approach to helping you assess behaviors and develop goals for your life. By coupling building tangible skills with introspection, I help you develop a complete view of your diagnosis without being stifled by ineffective shame or guilt.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 18 years of experience in mental health. I received a BA in Clinical Psychology from The College of NJ in 2005 and my MSW from Rutgers University in 2011. I worked in community mental health and served clients living with traumatic brain injuries, chronic illnesses, substance use disorders, and disabilities. In my years as a hospice social worker, I counseled individuals, groups, and families of all ages through end-of-life issues such as grief, discomfort, advocacy, communication, and planning. Eventually, I made the switch to becoming a therapist.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over twenty years of experience. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University. I have worked as an outpatient therapist, both in-person and remotely, and have worked for a leading managed care organization. I work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families.

I am an experienced, dedicated, and dynamic social worker, psychotherapist, life coach, and educator with over thirty years of clinical experience. I graduated from the University of Rochester with a Master of Science in Community Health & Services and later graduated from Syracuse University with my Master of Social Work degree. My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, family of origin and relationship issues, grief and loss, stress management, anxiety, and depression.

I received my BA in Journalism & Psychology from NYU. While volunteering at local hospitals as a Rape Crisis Counselor, I found my passion for social work. I began providing advocacy & emotional support to patients in the ER who had experienced sexual assault or domestic violence. This made me realize how much I valued others, & I decided to take the step & apply to graduate school. I then went on to earn my MSW from NYU. Since then, I have worked in various mental health & community health settings, with a focus on offering accessible services to those experiencing substance abuse, chronic illness, or mental health concerns.

Leah received her social work master’s degree from Wurzweiler School of Social work. She is passionate about encouraging self-awareness and promoting self-growth. Leah believes strongly in the human capacity for change and uses many avenues to help clients foster the changes they wish to see in their lives. Her practice is from a trauma-informed approach, recognizing how trauma may have impacted one’s beliefs, reactions, and behaviors. Leah holds positive unconditional regard in the therapy room and believes in a collaborative therapeutic process that caters towards the needs of the individual.

I am a LMSW committed to empowering individuals and couples to navigate life’s challenges and reach their full potential. I hold a Master of Social Work from the College of Staten Island and a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I received my Undergraduate Degree in Psychology from SUNY Oswego in 2017 and obtained my Master’s in Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2020. Throughout my graduate studies, I completed internships at New York Presbyterian—Westchester Behavioral Health Center and Hudson Valley Mental Health, gaining experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dana received her BA from Goucher College graduating as Phi Beta Kappa and received her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. Dana has an extensive background in providing outpatient therapy with experience in anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, bipolar and working with the LGTBQ+ community. Dana uses a trauma informed, holistic and evidence-based approach to empower her clients to work through their thoughts and feelings. Her modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative, strengths based, and motivational interviewing.
