I have had a private practice since 2010 in historical downtown DeLand in West Volusia County, Florida. I provide both counseling and assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults. I approach both counseling and assessment as healing processes, helping to answer deep-seated questions that individuals have about themselves or their child. With a passion for supporting neurodiversity, I provide an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families to learn and thrive.

Welcome! I’m Garrett Graves LMHC. I am an integrative practitioner specializing in play therapy techniques, sand tray techniques, and expressive arts interventions. I also know that for some feelings can seem daunting or overwhelming and I utilize cognitive modalities or traditional "talk therapy" as well. My priority is meeting people where they are and my passion is to connect with those who are stuck or struggling and to chart new ways of being.

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), behavioral health therapist, and college instructor with a PhD in psychology. Often problematic behavior can result in conflict with partners, spouses, parents, children, or work. I assess and treat people with challenging behavior that may affect their quality of life, and that of others.
