Welcome! I’m Garrett Graves MS, LMHC, RPT. I am an integrative practitioner specializing in play therapy techniques, sand tray techniques, and expressive arts interventions. I also know that for some feelings can seem daunting or overwhelming and I utilize cognitive modalities or traditional "talk therapy" as well. My priority is meeting people where they are and my passion is to connect with those who are stuck or struggling and to chart new ways of being.
I have experience working with children, teens, and adults to process a variety of areas such as trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, attachment complications with caregivers, LGBTQ+ related struggles, managing anger, addiction, and more. I have studied, researched, practiced, and teach on these topics as a professor at Stetson University.
In my work with individuals, kids, and families we imagine how life can be different and collaboratively explore how to move forward. Ten Days to Self-Esteem
*Group Full* In this 10 week course your group will meet on 10 consecutive Thursdays and use David Burns, M.D., (renowned psychiatrist and expert on mood problems) curriculum “Ten Days to Self-Esteem” you can join Garrett and a group of other adults working through problems just like yours! Cost for the group might be covered by your insurance (Oscar, Aetna, Oxford, and United Healthcare) or you can choose to pay out of pocket $40 per session (or $350 if you choose to pay in advance!)
