Hello and welcome to my practice. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice for over 20 years. I work with individuals both in Florida and Michigan. My authentic approach allows clients feel safe and understood for therapeutic change to occur. My passion for helping others began at a young age, volunteering in middle school. This was the start of my life long career of over 35 years working as a Social Worker with people in various scenarios; the past 19 years, primarily with elders and their adult children. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders including Social Anxiety, Panic, Phobias, Depression and OCD in children, adolescents, and adults. By emphasizing the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors clients gain insight into their concerns and learn techniques for managing their anxiety. To target the behavioral aspects of anxiety I incorporate exposure techniques into my work and help clients engage in exposures in the office and in real-world settings. Mindfulness is also an important aspect of my work, helping clients to be more present in their daily lives.

Paul Modesto is a Licensed Psychologist and a Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Modesto is also a certified Reality Therapist and Parent Effectiveness Training instructor.
