About
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders including Social Anxiety, Panic, Phobias, Depression and OCD in children, adolescents, and adults. By emphasizing the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors clients gain insight into their concerns and learn techniques for managing their anxiety. To target the behavioral aspects of anxiety I incorporate exposure techniques into my work and help clients engage in exposures in the office and in real-world settings. Mindfulness is also an important aspect of my work, helping clients to be more present in their daily lives.
Trained in sport and performance psychology, I have an interest in working with athletes. I emphasize the connection between mind and body while addressing issues relating to the optimal performance and well-being of athletes. In addition to working with individual athletes, I provide services for teams, coaches and parents.
