I believe finding a therapist that you feel you can connect with is the most important part of starting the therapeutic process. I also understand that it is somewhat of a daunting task to find a therapist that you believe will be non-judgmental, trustworthy, and provide a sense of understanding and compassion. How do you trust that out of all the countless searches, web pages, or recommendations, that you can find a therapist who is honest, compassionate, and will be a good fit for either yourself or someone you love? Maybe it can be helpful if I share about my background.
I've been lucky to have gained a wide range of experiences and I believe this has allowed me to be comfortable with a variety of demographics/concerns. I've been fortunate to have worked in multiple treatment settings that treat for trauma, eating disorders, mental health, personality disorders, family of origin issues, and substance use disorders.
I'd like to think that I'm able to best serve those struggling with self-worth, trauma, personality disorders, anger, depression, anxiety, and substance use.
