For most of us, our time and resources are limited. Considering this reality, my work with clients is designed to maximize the benefits of therapy. This is accomplished via in-office or tele-therapy (secure on line video) sessions in which we establish specific goals focused on each individual's needs. I provide clients with a safe, caring relationship in which I listen, understand and offer effective interventions. I have guided clients through difficult circumstances, including divorce, loss, relationship conflicts, parenting issues and chronic illness. Our work together focuses on developing a range of skills to manage these circumstances.
The process of therapy extends beyond the office to include the time between sessions in which clients continue to work on their issues. Together, we develop a specific plan which includes things such as suggested readings, lifestyle adjustments (sleep, nutrition, exercise, etc.), practicing coping skills and stress management.
This comprehensive approach has proven to be an effective process for facilitating positive change and healing. I welcome the opportunity to use my unique skills to work with you in cultivating an optimistic, healthy approach to life.
