Hello. I offer 25 years experience working collaboratively with people struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues and addiction problems (please have at least 30 days clean and involved in recovery.) Therapy provided is tailored to client needs. Some clients benefit from structure, whereas others benefit more from a safe, supportive place to process problems with a therapist trained as an effective, reflective, listener. I prefer working with older teens and adults. Specialized training in trauma and PTSD.

I have 31 years working experience in behavioral healthcare and K-12 education. I am dually licensed both as a mental health counselor and a school adjustment counselor. I have held positions as a director overseeing adolescent residential treatment programs and a therapeutic day school, agency clinical director, substance abuse specialist, clinical program manager in adult addiction and recovery, school therapist, and various direct care service provider roles in the public school systems and behavioral healthcare space.

I am competent in working with different cultural perspectives and views. Some of my clients see me for coaching on goal setting, problem solving, relationship issues, motivation, business or career questions. I work extensively with addiction, including alcohol, drug, shopping, gambling, and smoking cessation. Other clients see me for Depression, Anxiety, and family issues. In addition, I work with clients to change core beliefs formed in childhood to help them live happier lives. I counsel couples to teach them how to be respectful yet effective with one another, resolve issues express feelings, and make different choices.
