Mental Health and Wellness! Are you, or family struggling with ADHD symptoms; diagnosed, unmanaged, or untreated? Do you know about RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria) and how it relates to ADHD? Do you have depression or trauma related to your relationships, job or family. Are you using drugs and alcohol to manage anxiety and depression, or trauma? During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
Specialize in; Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Humanistic and Person-Centered, therapeutic techniques. Neuro-Psych Evaluations and Medication Consultations, by referral. Saturday sessions are available. Pre "move in together" counseling, available.
Emphasis on Standard treatments for ADHD in adults typically involve medication, education, skills training and psychological counseling. A combination of these is often the most effective treatment. These treatments can help manage many symptoms of ADHD, but they don't cure it. It may take some time to determine what works best for you.
