The best professional advice I had received was while in undergrad to pursue a path in clinical social work. As a proud clinical social worker, I prioritize meeting clients where they are at, seeing people as people and not their symptoms or diagnosis. I prioritize a strengths-based approach in a safe and supportive environment.
