I have spent much of the past 25 years focused on providing therapy to adults with addiction and mental health issues, including traumatic reactions and PTSD. I had the opportunity to develop a mental health/wellness program for the LGBT community at the Savannah LGBT Center from the inception of the Center until I moved to Delaware in March 2019. The focus of my work has always been on assisting clients in finding their strengths and identifying their personal goals for change. This client centered approach fosters insight and personal empowerment. I am a professional counselor, with licenses in Delaware, Georgia and Colorado.

She specializes in Trauma Inform, Addiction, Dual diagnoses after many years of working with women coming out of incarceration. She currently works with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss. She also specializes in domestic violence, challenging irrational thoughts, and gaslighting.

I have worked in the child protective, emergency family service, mental health, substance abuse, addiction, and correctional fields since 1998. I have worked with adults, adolescents, and families throughout my career. I graduated from Delaware State University with his Master's Degree in Social Work in 2003 and his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1998. I completed his studies in gambling addiction through the University of Minnesota Duluth in collaboration with the North American Training Institute in 2017.

My name is Laura Harper and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of mental health located in Seaford, Delaware. Through my experience as a counselor, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families who have experienced trauma, attachment issues, troubles with anxiety, and depression. I have also worked with people who are living with Autism Spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and who struggle with addiction.
