At A New Perspective Counseling, I primarily work with adults using a Cognitive Behavioral counseling model in the areas of anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, adjustment issues, and substance abuse. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a form of psychotherapy that emphasizes the important role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. I work with individuals, couples in therapeutic sessions. I also work with companies and agencies providing employee assistance services, Professional Development training, and team-building services.
I work with a wide range of issues to include anxiety, balancing career/work and life, depression (mild to moderate), LGBTQIA+, relationship issues, stress, substance abuse, transitional issues (i.e. returning vets/their spouses, relocation), traumatic experiences, and women's issues.
