I believe that if someone is willing to be honest with him or herself and is willing to change, then all things are possible. I work hard to help people find their own answers. If I were looking for a therapist, I would want to be sure that the therapist would be a great listener, would be willing to accept my values, and would be able to guide me into solutions for my problems. Those are the qualities I work hard to bring into therapy. Not very many therapists have emphasized men's issues in their practice. I am trained in EMDR therapy and am currently completing hours toward being certified. Since 2015, as a licensed clinical mental health counselor, I have specialized in working with individuals who are confronting traumatic experiences following death, betrayal, unexpected life transitions, sexual assault, or abuse. I have extensive experience with at-risk teen girls/young adult females and their families suffering with relationship discord, acting out, anxiety, depression, or self-harm.
