I am an experienced therapist (20+ years) with a private practice focusing on individual therapy and couples therapy for adults. I can help you take back your life and work towards a meaningful and happy existence. I provide counseling for men, women, and couples from all backgrounds, and create a warm and nurturing therapeutic environment. My practice includes an eclectic mix of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), therapy guided by the Gottman method, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), trauma focused therapy, and relationship dynamics, aging and elderly care.
Many of my clients are dealing with anxiety, depression, and the stress related to their relationships or stage in life. I will not assign you homework or worksheets, but I will expect you to work on the issues that arise during our sessions and make positive progress towards being your best you.
My therapy style encourages self-compassion, understanding, and instills hope. I have been married for over 17 years and have two children and appreciate the challenges of maintaining work-life balance, juggling family needs, and growing in your relationship with your significant other.
