Hello animal lovers! I work with children, teens, and their families for a holistic experience. A person is a whole of many parts, and therefore I tackle issues from multiple perspectives, including relationships, external, health, behavioral, and internal. I enjoy making therapy a relaxing and enjoyable experience in which I can really get to know my client and utilize their strengths. I love engaging in play therapy, art, and music to help my clients adopt healthy coping skills in a hands-on way. Also, we're ALL about animals over here. Animal-assisted therapy can help children, teens, and adults with a wide variety of issues!

Coming from a traumatic background I've had to do a great deal of my own healing. Starting the healing journey was a very difficult process, however, in identifying a great support system and seeking therapeutic services on my own I was able to experience tremendous growth and change. You are not alone and it is possible to experience healthy change and heal old wounds. I am eclectic in my therapeutic approach and use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, Play Therapy Techniques, Integrative Gestalt Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and psycho-education to individuals ages two and up.

I truly enjoy working with neurodivergent teens and adults. I get excited about working with clients on leaving masking behind for genuine expression, increasing self-knowledge and self-advocacy, and learning about self-regulation tools and techniques. With a background in music therapy and social work, beginning in 2008, I went on to fulfill a master’s degree in professional counseling from the University of Colorado Denver with a specialization in Couple and Family Therapy.
