Hello and welcome! I am a licensed associate counselor (LAC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist for Families. I love to work collaboratively with my clients and their families, and I feel honored to be a part of their growth and self-enhancement. I am a proud Tucson native and a Mexican American woman who can communicate fluently with families in Spanish through speaking, reading, and writing. My light continues to grow as I witness children and families build resilience through healing from their difficult life experiences.
My passion for working with children began as a volunteer at a local children’s shelter This passion has continued in my career in working in various Children’s Advocacy Centers. I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).
I can help your child and family with a wide range of mental health challenges and life difficulties including trauma, anxiety, depression, relational and behavioral issues. I am a firm believer in meeting the client’s specific needs and providing them with catered therapeutic services based on their development and interests.
