I have particular expertise working with adolescents and young adults who struggle with life transitions to college or work or life after college. I also have years of experience working with women in life transitions of one sort of another: relationships, work, or life events. I can help you.
I am a psychologist with thirty years of experience working with adolescents and adults, focusing on brief solution based psychotherapy. I have worked in schools, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. I now spend my time with teens and young adults dealing with anxiety and depression resulting from the pressures of modern society and the Internet age.
In addition to adolescents, I specialize in helping women deal with our changing roles in society. I research women's roles, the stereotypes about us and the limits those stereotypes have placed on some of us. Those limits can lead to problems such as depression, anxiety, or discontent which I may be able to help with.
