Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Provider. My background is a combination of trauma and community-based mental health and I work with clients with an array of diverse backgrounds. My work with clients involves finding out how to address the concerns that stop you from living a fulfilling life. Finding answers to question such as: How can we move from surviving to thriving, becoming the best version of what we want for ourselves? Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I spent seven years in crisis work, working with individuals experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault.

I am Jeanette Vo-Vu, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am passionate about CHANGE. I work to support individuals, families & couples struggling with life changes from early childhood years to the end of life stages; in my work, I often engage my client's natural support system (with my client's consent) in the change process. I have over 10 years of experience providing mental health services to individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, recovering from trauma and addiction experiences.

My goal is to help you be the best you possible. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will begin to deal with long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I work with a variety of issues including autism, ADD/ADHD, Dementia and Alzheimer's, aging and mortality, grief and loss, gambling addiction, bariatric and eating disorders, trauma, anxiety issues, and OCD.

I offer straight forward individual, marriage, family and child therapy without the technical jargon. I'm into straight talk with people who are ready to make changes. I believe we all have the ability within us to change ourselves, so to me therapy is a collaborative effort. My therapeutic orientation is cognitive-behavioral as well as family systems, and I work from a spiritually-based approach for those who ask for it. I have special experience in a number of areas, such as military, trauma, domestic violence, and abuse. Ultimately, I provide the type of therapy that meets your needs.

Hello! Life can throw you a curve ball now and then. I have been working in the counseling field for over 20 years; as a youth counselor first and marriage and family therapist for 14 years I have experience treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, marriage matters, troubled adolescents, major life transitions, trauma and more. I have worked with all ages: from 3 year-olds to the young 80 year-olds. I work with individuals, couples, families and conduct group counseling sessions. As a therapist I am committed to the success of my clients. My goal is to work in partnership with people, provide support, guidance and genuine care.
