Anxiety Experts has offices in Santa Monica, Goleta, Montecito and Ventura, as well as virtual outpatient and Virtual Intensive Outpatient (VIOP) Treatment. Our team is specialized in treating anxiety, panic, social phobia, school refusal, OCD, PTSD, BDD, and disordered eating. These problems rob one's sense of freedom, confidence and self-worth. We treat these issues with a type of CBT called Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and Medical Nutrition Therapy from a Registered Dietician as appropriate. We have helped hundreds of adults and kids master their fears; research shows in-person and live video to be equally effective!

My role as a therapist is not about helping others. It is about giving guidance and focusing on self-empowerment to my clients so they can have the tools to assist themselves. Prior to private practice, I worked at treatment facilities for both substance abuse and eating disorders, worked with victims of crimes (domestic violence and sexual abuse), and a suicide hotline.

The majority of my practice focuses on working with Black, Latinx, and people of color struggling with anxiety, ADHD, Depression and Complex PTSD. I see women, men, teenagers and children. We explore identity development, fear, culture, behavioral health and family conflict. My approach is compassionate, warm, honest and structured. As I continue my journey has a therapist I am noticing an interesting shift in the ways we as humans want to show up in our lives, and I want to give you a space and permission to discover who you really are.

I work with clients who are dealing with lingering effects of childhood trauma, from bullying to abuse, and experiencing anger, anxiety, avoidance and depression. Clients who might have PTSD symptoms such as flashbacks or nightmares, triggers and problems with trust. Clients who have consistently formed bad relationships and unhealthy attachments.

Many individuals aspire to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, yet often find themselves trapped in a cycle of confusion, anxiety, depression, anger, feelings of worthlessness, and hopelessness.
