Dr. Waterman specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for adults, teens, and families. She is experienced in treating mood, anxiety, and personality disorders, as well as substance abuse disorders in private practice and treatment centers. Dr. Waterman is also intensively trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an effective treatment for children with behavioral and emotional problems.

My passion is to help those who feel weary and lost. It is difficult to be present and live a fulfilling life when the chains of past events hold us back. As hard as we run and distract ourselves, we also run away from our sense of self. Avoiding pain can grow into unhealthy behaviors and addiction.
