The clinician will rebuild marriages and families by addressing needs such as dysfunctional issues, poor communication, hidering baggages and overwhelming conflicts. Treatment will also focus on hurting teens and families through individual, group and family sessions. Parents will be empowered to provide healed environments for recovering teens and parents.

I have a background in teaching, leadership and christian ministry. I am well equipped with relevant experience in people skills that provides ease to clients. Clients have successfully been able to draw from my way of being to explore their issues and express themselves. My strength based approach has empowered and navigated my clients to desirable results.

The impact of substance abuse has possed a great threat to the growth and potential accessibility to teenage population of our times. Assessment will determine the extent and nature of involvement and the consequent risk the adolescent is in. Those with a determined pattern of use will be referred for treatment. Those who are experimenting and are at the risk of deteriorating behavior will receive therapeutic group counseling that will also involve parent input through multifamily alternated sessions. Parents will be advised to uterize primary care physicians for urine screening and also supervise attendance to one 12 step group weekly.

Parenting especially the adolescents with all the busy schedules and technological advances has become challenging for the busy parent. This parenting group will avail opportunity for parents experiencing similar challenges. The counselor will moderate the session and ensure that parents are guided therapeutically in every meeting so as as to acquire skills in addressing their unique parenting situations. The sessions will avail opportunities for parents to identify issues presenting in parenting, the obstacles to good parenting and strategies to overcoming those obstacles. Parents experiencing difficulties will be validated and efforts to reinforce their input will be made.
