I am a heart-centered Board Certified Art Therapist and Counselor with a strong focus on encouraging exploration, self-discovery and empowerment through visual and symbolic expression. I offer a range of treatment modalities such as creative arts therapy, somatic processing and talk therapy with focus on self-compassion, mindfulness, spirituality, mind-body connection and creativity.
Art therapy may differ from what we associate with traditional arts based practices since it can be utilized as a tool to further explore unconscious thoughts and emotions, it isn't necessary to have a background in art making, just the desire to explore your psyche. In our work together we will learn from the process of creating and from the artwork itself.
