I work with people struggling with a host of issues. Many of my clients over the years have had anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and addiction issues. Since I've been doing therapy since 2008, I have worked with more presenting problems than I can list. I enjoy working collaboratively with people to find a resolution to the problems that bring them to therapy. People often don't know what to look for in a therapist. The research is very consistent here. It says a strong therapeutic alliance is more likely to bring about the change that you are seeking than anything else. My clients find that when working with me.
I create a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for my clients that enables them to explore and work on whatever brings them to my therapy room. I foster and create hope and avenues for change. My experience as a therapist and graduate professor has helped me hone those skills that are the most productive in therapy.
