My practice is founded on evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT).

Each client's psychological and spiritual needs are a focus addressing relational issues, behavioral issues, and mood-driven difficulties with consideration of individually-specified treatment goals. I am a neuroscience-trained cognitive-behaviorist with a PhD in clinical psychology, and 40 years of clinical expertise in the assessment and psychotherapy for problems with PTSD, Childhood Trauma, and Addiction, for individuals and couples including veterans and active-duty military. I am experienced in working with clients with drug and alcohol addiction and families or spouses who are dealing with their loved one who is addicted.I have worked in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Centers. I have extensive experience in working with depression and anxiety and patients who are dually diagnosed.
